Keep cooking grease and crumbs out of the awkward gap between your stove and countertop with the bordthwaite segmented gap filler. Food-grade silicone seals the opening while a solid oak edge gives it the warm, finished look of a premium kitchen accessory — not the cheap floppy silicone strip you are used to. Designed for anyone who meal-prep batches, cleans up quickly, and likes a tidy counter.
Features
- Food-grade, BPA-free silicone core seals stove-to-counter gaps and blocks crumbs, spills and oil splatter
- Solid oak wood top edge with a smooth, food-safe oil finish for a high-end kitchen aesthetic
- Segmented design lets you mix lengths and trim to fit your exact gap width — no cutting guesswork
- Heat-resistant silicone stands up to everyday stovetop temperatures (up to 250°C / 482°F)
- Flexible enough to lie flat yet sturdy enough to hold its shape; wipes clean in seconds
Product Details
- Material: Food-grade silicone + natural oak wood edge
- Set: Two segmented filler strips per pack
- Each segment: approx. 20 cm (8 in); connect or trim as needed
- Heat resistance: Silicone rated up to 250°C / 482°F; wood edge should be kept back from direct open flame
- Best for: gas, electric and induction stove-counter gaps from 1–4 cm
How to Use
Clean the gap, dry the surface, and press the segmented strip into place. Add or remove segments to match your counter length. For a neater look, run segments from one end of the stove to the other; the oak edge faces up. Remove, rinse and air-dry after heavy cooking sessions.
Care
Wipe the silicone with warm soapy water or a damp cloth; hand-wipe the oak edge with a slightly oiled cloth occasionally to keep it looking warm. Do not put the wood-trimmed piece in the dishwasher, and keep the wood edge away from direct heat and open flame.
Wood grain varies from piece to piece, so your trim will look slightly unique. Colors may vary by screen and lighting.
